One Beautiful! 1971 FJ40 4x4 Convertible Full Frame Off Restoration Rebuilt 3.8L Engine, Rebuilt 3-speed Manual Transmission, New Hydraulic Clutch, Power brakes. The Restoration process begins by using a uncut rust free ALL ORIGINAL METAL PANELS FJ40 No aftermarket panels was use on this build. We begin by disassembling the FJ40' s body and attachments inside and out where removed - Including doors, hood, fenders, hinges, roll bar, seats, bumpers. After disassembling the body soda blasted & sanded, coated with KBS Fusion self-etching primer for the ultimate rust protection. The under carriage and floor was Rhino Coated, the body was repainted with PPG Alpine Gloss White as well as the interior. Glove box door, ashtray were painted black, re-built instrument cluster & lighted custom Gauges in dash, spare tire rack, front and back bumpers are Armor coated along with under seat door and black accent’s on both doors. Front grill was also refinished to new condition. Pretty much all of the bolts and screws were replaced new.
